3:DRIVER CPC INITIAL QUALIFICATION

You must have the full Driver CPC if you drive a lorry, bus or coach as the main part of your job.

How to get and keep the full driver CPC
  • Apply for a provisional lorry or bus licence
  • Pass the 4 tests that make up Driver CPC to qualify
  • Take 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to stay qualified
  • Sign a declaration every 5 years until you’re 45 to show you still meet the medical standards
  • Provide a medical report every 5 years after you’re 45 to renew your driving licence you need to do this every year when you reach 65

Designed to reduce vehicle accidents, improve road safety, improve driving standards, reduce vehicle operating costs and C02 emissions. The course aims to teach drivers the benefits of safe and fuel efficient driving for operators and the environment.

6:ADR AWARENESS ONLINE COURSE

All drivers within the scope of the Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (Driver Training) Regulations 1996 must be trained and hold a Vocational Training Certificate issued by DVLA. This is required by UK regulations implementing the relevant EU directive.
 
The ADR General Awareness course allows individuals to safely carry, handle and receive consignments of dangerous goods and limited quantity goods in line with legal requirements.

7:ADR TRAINING COURSE
